The Senior Accountant assists with a variety of accounting tasks with a special focus on international subsidiary accounting.
Help coordinate and oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process of international subsidiaries
Support the month-end international subsidiaries’ close processes, including the recording of intercompany and subsidiary journal entries and preparing balance sheet reconciliations.
Provide necessary support for international subsidiaries’ statutory audits
Assist with international subsidiary treasury management, including preparing funding analyses, tracking intercompany loans, and entering subsidiary payments on intercompany loans
Prepare international sales reconciliations, reconciling sales per the international subsidiary ERP instance to third-party logistic provider reports
Assist with annual physical inventory counts and adjustments in the ERP system
Assist with preparation of the consolidated financial statements and departmental expense reporting files.
Assist with other projects and activities as directed.
3-5 years of relevant work experience in Accounting field.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Understanding of general accounting including journal entries and account reconciliations
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Knowledge of Expandable Accounting ERP or similar ERP software
Experience in company external financial audits
Ability to safeguard confidential information
Strong analytical skills
Strong time management skills and ability to work within firm deadlines
